The London Literary Pub Crawl -
 Actors and Associate Producer

Maverick Theatre has always been about increasing access to the arts. The literary pub crawl combines a number of accessible concepts in one project - pubs and art!

After initial critical acclaim, we are looking for an additional five actors to complete our team performing Charles Dickens and Virginia Woolf for the tour. Actors multi-play a variety of roles.  We aim to have four teams of two actors to share the workload. The tours currently run every
Saturday at 5pm
in central London and last for around three hours. The performances are scripted.

You need to be flexible, personal, versatile and professional and able to cope with delivering some great speeches (and possibly some songs) on busy streets! In return we will offer regular ongoing work and some very good exposure.

We're looking for a Volunteer part-time Fundraiser! 
Can you spare a few hours a week?
Although launched in 1994, we only recently became a registered charity and now we're looking for someone to volunteer for 3 months to help us raise funds and shape the future of Maverick. Times are tough, but Maverick is a unique company! 
Where         Probably West London-based. Or maybe Birmingham.  But there's always the internet....!
When           As soon as possible.
How much?   It's voluntary for the first three months, but expenses will be met and free tickets to all our events. And who knows where we go after that...?
The Job.
General Fundraising: Crowdfunding, Grants, Trusts and Foundations, Arts applications and ideas for Events: Experience would be useful, but it's not neccesary.  What IS important in a flexible attitude, initiative, imagination, an appreciation of what Maverick is about and the ability to see opportunities. It will probably involve two or three hours a week initially. Basic training will be provided and you will work with Artistic Director and Producer Nick Hennegan on some exciting projects. And then it's up to you...!

London’s People’s Company- a unique pro/am community initiative, launched with Sheila Hancock.
TheTheatre.Biz – an interactive web based theatre website and possible TV show, with experts answering questions directly for those considering a career in the performing arts.
Maverick Radio and Podcasts - we are planning some Birmingham and London-centric new media radio shows.
Along with small and medium scale national touring, new works and the new TIE Pocket Classics series.

National touring production and new writing.
