The Maverick 21st Birthday Book!

The Maverick Theatre Company celebrates its 21st anniversary with the release of a scrapbook of photos, posters, reminiscences from audiences and artists and the 1997 production memoir of founder and Artistic Director Nick Hennegan.

Part diary, part stream of consciousness, part auto-biography, it deals with subjects as wide as actors auditions, mental health, Princess Diana, working in the arts, funding bodies, drinking, the internet, some famous and soon to be famous people, child abuse, Formula 1, living on noodles and more drinking!

Early Reviews (from 1997!)

"It made me laugh out loud. And on occasion, shead a tear." John Slater.

"Hennegan writes brilliantly and vividly about the people he encounters. A stream of concienceness that is sometimes painfully honest and often hillaious" Caroline Moore.

"An hillarious, observed must-read if you are thinking of starting a theatre company. Or maybe you shouldn't read it!" Peter Willis.

21 Years for £6.99!

This e-book contains photos, reviews, party pics, posters and other scraps of Maverick Theatre's first Twenty One years!  Once purchased, a download code will be sent and you can either save the book as a PDF or open it in Kindle or iBooks.

There is also an Audio Book version, read by Nick Hennegan! £5.99
